Our Story

Growing up, I always loved being outdoors, whether it was hiking or swimming, or just basking in the sunlight! A couple of years ago, I was brainstorming creative ways to use the land around our property to spend more time outdoors and settled on flowers. It made the most sense because I had always loved them, so I threw wildflower seeds around our property and set out to learn more. Those wildflower seeds that I had tossed all those months before bloomed into gorgeous pops of color that would live in vases around the house.

The whole family became involved, and we worked together to stock a self-serve, donation-based, curbside farm table to share our flowers with our neighbors and those passing through the beautiful Linden, Virginia. The love and support we received was incredible. There would be people taking photos with our stand, leaving kind notes, and neighbors sharing with us how our flowers brightened their day.

For our first official season, we added several rows, started countless seeds, and got to planting. It was at this point that Fletcher’s Flower Farm was born! In July of 2021, we transformed a flatbed trailer into our flower cart and brought it down the road to our local wineries to share our flowers. Offering our farm fresh flowers through our build-your-own bouquet cart and pre-made bouquets at local businesses allowed us to share our flowers with more people than we could have imagined!
